2016 Philanthropist of the Year Award
Individual Philanthropist of the Year – John C. Brewster DDS
Dr. John C. Brewster has been involved in Nyaka as a member of their Advisory Board as well as their One by One Planning Committee for several years. In addition to his work in the US to support Nyaka, Dr. Brewster has personally visited their project sites in Uganda, multiple times, to administer dental care to a community of over 250,000, none of which ever received dental care before. Dr. Brewster has recruited colleagues from across the United States to join him on these mission trips to Uganda and has played a key role in turning these volunteers into committed donors.
